Lake Forest

LFR is a unique interdenominational evangelical summer camp experience for youth. Lake Forest is truly a “camp” experience for church student ministries as well as for individual campers. While conferences may focus on large group energy, the focus at LFR is one-on-one evangelism, mentoring and discipleship of campers led by godly college-age staff members in a grace-filled environment. LFR is like a week-long “DNow” packed with a ton of indoor and outdoor fun activities. There is so much adventure that your students get to experience. They can enjoy high energy competitive team events, a high elements ropes course, tubing and boating on our 60 acre private lake, swimming pool fun, beach volleyball, horseback riding, archery tag, disc golf and so much more.

One-on-one spiritual enrichment through their camp counselor, times of praise & worship, small group Bible study, devotional time, and listening to the camp pastor’s relevant messages a couple of times each day all add up to a tremendous opportunity for spiritual nurture and refreshment in Christ. It is an unbeatable opportunity for students to unplug and enjoy a combination of fun, growing in God’s grace, and inspiration in a beautiful remote setting on a lake in the midst of a 50,000 acre pine forest. LFR is located in east central Mississippi two and a half hours west of Birmingham, AL halfway between Macon and Louisville, MS.
