DUNWOODY, Ga. — A man looking to buy a dog was defrauded out of $300 on Jan. 5.

The victim, a 55-year-old Dunwoody man, told police he found a dog on the Facebook page Cavapoo Puppies and began negotiating with the supposed seller. When he reached agreement on a price, the victim said he used Zelle to send the purported dog seller a $300 deposit.
